Dear subscribers,
Some news, I guess.
Episode 3 - Chapter 19 has completed the 1st half of Ianc’s journey. It reaches roughly 55,000 words, and some of you have been here since the very first line of the Prologue. That is something. Thank you, truly, to every single one of you who stuck around, who left comments that made me grin (groan), who quietly kept the subscription alive even when life got loud.
I’ve decided to slow the pace to 1–2 chapters per week starting now. Mainly because I need time to edit previous posts and to fix stuff in the incoming Episode.
In my recent editing, I found chapter 1 suffer from sentence structure repetition. Editing them is a pain.
Across Episode - term inconsistency (a thing call Aegion in the magic system, I decided to tuck it under burned paper, but it still resurfaced)
The liquid glass door in Chapter 15 should be a beautiful pond that the Aeimortis’ roots are drinking from. That would help with consistency and symbolism.
Those are some reflection I’ve, and t’is below is the good news.
In Episode 4, Ianc finally steps into Lys Royeaux—the glittering heart of the realm where every important person wears a smile and carries a knife behind it. He will meet them all, the Hierophant, the Prune Pontiff, Cley’s father, and Gerald Duranthier, the Templar Marshall whose got promoted after an Inquisition on Ianc’s hometown. More importantly, the Archlich lurks under the shadow of the Second Sun. But most importantly, the question about Mirari and Ianc’s Mark will be slowly revealed in this 2nd half of the book.
Thank you again for over 50k words of trust.
More will come, slower, better, sharper.

Editing is tough, but it’s worth it for a polished story. I love the idea of changing the liquid glass door to a pond. It adds so much depth and symbolism. Seems like a lot of work has put by you , Great job!
